How to get out of bed more easily and wake up with ENERGY

Updated: Mar 5

Hi friends,

Getting out of bed can be a struggle for many people, especially if you're feeling tired or unmotivated. However, with a few simple changes, you can start your day with more energy and enthusiasm. Here are some tips to help you get out of bed more easily and wake up with energy:

  1. Get enough sleep: Aim to get 7-9 hours of sleep each night. Make sure your bedtime is consistent and avoid screens for at least an hour before bedtime. Also fun fact: did you know that your best sleep happens before 12am? Go to sleep earlier friends.

  2. Create a relaxing bedtime routine: Do something calming before bed, like reading a book, meditating, or taking a bath. This can help you wind down and prepare for sleep.

  3. Use light to your advantage: Bright light in the morning can help you feel more awake and alert. Open your curtains or blinds as soon as you wake up and consider using a sunrise alarm clock.

  4. Exercise in the morning: Exercise releases endorphins, which can make you feel more alert and energized. Even a short workout, like stretching or a quick jog, can help you start your day on the right foot.

  5. Hydrate: Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up to help rehydrate your body. Drinking water before bed and first thing in the morning can also help regulate your body's natural sleep cycle.

  6. Eat a nutritious breakfast: A nutritious breakfast can help you feel more alert and focused throughout the day. Choose foods that are high in protein, fiber, and healthy fats. They recommend 30grams of protein to start your day.

  7. Avoid caffeine and sugar: While caffeine and sugar can give you a quick burst of energy, they can also lead to crashes later in the day. Try to limit your caffeine and sugar intake, especially in the morning.

  8. Have a plan: Having a plan for the day can help you feel more motivated and focused. Make a to-do list or schedule your day in advance to help you feel more in control.

By making these small changes, you can start your day with more energy and enthusiasm, making it easier to get out of bed and tackle your day.

Hope this helps!
