DIY Wreath

Hi Friends, I never feel like Christmas decorating is complete without a wreath on the door, and maybe a couple inside too. This year Cameron and I had an incredible amount of dried greenery from our wedding, so I decided to put it to good use and make some wreaths. I learnt how to make a wreath while working on a Hallmark Christmas movie, and realized how incredibly easy it was. So today I wanted to share how to make a wreath with you as well. In total this was a $6 craft. Things you will need: Green wire Wire cutters hot glue gun Foliage Strong base (frame or otherwise) I picked up two wireframes from Dollarama for $3 a piece. From there I sorted out my greenery into different types and cut up some pieces of wire. My cute little wire cutters are also from the dollar store.
I applied a base of leaves with wire so they are nice and secure. Then, once it got hard to wire new leaves in, I started to hot glue them in. I would only hot glue the leaves to each other, as I did not want the dried hot glue to be seen and look messy or tacky. Once finished, I added a piece of wire to the back of the frame, for hooks to grab onto. See! Nice and Easy!
