7 Encouraging Bible Verses for the Girl Who Feels Overwhelmed

intro Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— think about such things . I love this verse because it reminds us to think beyond ourselves and our troubles. Ephesians 6: 10-12 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.Put on the full armor of God , so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, againstthe powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Matthew 6:34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Most of my stress occurs when I am thinking about the future Psalm 1:1-3 “Blessed is the onewho does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,and who meditates on his law day and night . That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.” Psalm 139:23-24 “Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting .” The Lord knows you. Allow him to strengthen you by letting Him honestly reveal what is in your heart (good or bad). Matthew 6:25-27 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life , what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” Above everything in the whole world, you were fashioned from the image of God. Psalm 139:14 “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful ; I know that full well.” The Lord is Good. Know it, believe it!
