5 Easy Pupsicle Ideas to Keep Your Dog Cool & Healthy

Updated: Mar 5

Hi Friends,

I love to give my dog his own little popsicles. Not only do they keep him cool in the hot summer but they also provide many health benefits above kibble. Here are five easy and healthy pup-sicle ideas:

  1. Peanut Butter Banana Pupsicles: Blend together ripe bananas, creamy peanut butter, and plain yogurt. Pour the mixture into an ice-cube tray or pupsicle mold and freeze until solid. These pupsicles are a tasty and nutritious treat for your furry friend.

  2. Sweet Potato Pupsicles: Cook a sweet potato until soft, then puree it with a bit of chicken broth or water. Pour the mixture into molds and freeze until solid. Sweet potatoes are a great source of vitamins and fiber for dogs.

  3. Apple Cinnamon Pupsicles: Blend together apples, plain yogurt, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Pour the mixture into molds and freeze until solid. These pupsicles are perfect for a warm summer day.

  4. Blueberry Pupsicles: Blend together fresh or frozen blueberries with plain yogurt. Pour the mixture into molds and freeze until solid. Blueberries are packed with antioxidants, which can help support your dog's overall health.

  5. Carrot Ginger Pupsicles: Blend together cooked carrots, fresh ginger, and plain yogurt. Pour the mixture into molds and freeze until solid. Carrots and ginger both have numerous health benefits for dogs, making this a nutritious and delicious treat.
